…….. flabbergasted Words fail to describe how I feel about this………

  3. OMG… cripes, words are failing me, too.

I love it, though. And I’m happy to see you are still taking creative risks after the radical show debacle.

I’m not sure I can take much more of the Elvis thing, but I really like seeing the characters highlighted as Pete talks about them… in that respect the pace is good too, as it will merit re-watching to figure out the characters, but the first x through was a good pace to get the gist of the poem.

Actually, the Elvis thing kinda started to work toward the end–I haven’t seen any Elvis concert films, but the ‘mamma’ bit–I could totally see that on stage… And I think it’s genius to see the relationship between your basic Tennessee country/rockabilly lyrics and Chinese Poetry. I’m waiting to see if your ChinesePod talent can do a take on Dolly Parton or Hank Williams analyzing subsequent poems. LOL

They’d better stop doing this before it’s too late.

To use a Chinese phrase here: This thing’s got my goosebumps all over the floor!

  5. Love the video.

As an aside, will there any freebie cultural-type shows that will replace Dear Amber?

  6. that is interesting video, I like the part that Elvis was interpreting the Chinese poem, that is funky and fun!
