In four semesters at ZUCC, I have taught the following classes: Spoken English for English majors, Spoken English for E-Commerce majors, Spoken English as an elective, American Society and Culture, and discussions of American Society and Culture with Chinese English teachers.
My classes usually have about 22 students, though once I taught a class of 45, and the discussion class for the teachers usually had about 10.
The students are ages 18-21 (with the exception of the teachers I taught), and for the most part are eager to learn, although they can be slow to open up and speak out sometimes.
The following are some pictures of my former classes. Some of the pictures can give you a better picture of what the classrooms are like. Note, however, that these are the standard classrooms, not the multimedia fully-equipped ones.
