Remember how my visa went 144 days overdue, then when I got it renewed, I only got a 2 month visa? Well, I got my new passport, then I finally got my new visa. Today. Looks like I’ll never need to apply for a student visa again. For me, that is a satisfying conclusion.
Speaking of satisfying conclusions, I’ll soon be able to put closure soon on another story I once told here on this blog. Can anyone guess which one it is? (No, it has nothing to do with me getting married.)
Of course, the real satisfying conclusion will be when ChinesePod finally launches V3. It has been extremely busy these past two weeks, and it’s not quite over yet…

John, I am really craving for this, although I have to admit that I hardly come to all the stuff that I want to do with the existing materials (working through old Advanced Expansions, goulnik-like transcription, trying out Bob’s recorder approach etc. etc.). Time is sparse and I already spend to much of it with this hobby of uncertain value…
But V3 sounds like a CPod version from a perfect parallel dimension. Hope it will become reality.

No. It’s a crappy 盗版 copy and it keeps freezing and not letting me save and making me play parts all over. I’m slowly learning how to overcome these setbacks, and I’m in the final stretch of the game, but I haven’t beaten it yet.
