China Daily Show is great

Maybe I don’t read the right blogs, but it seems like China Daily Show isn’t getting nearly as much attention as it deserves. This China-centric Onion-style “news” site is hilarious. It describes itself like this:

> China Daily Show is not affiliated with China Daily or The Daily Show and is intended for humorous purposes only. All events, characters, names and places featured are products of the authors’ imaginations, or are used fictitiously.

  1. Hilarious! Too bad they don’t update that often.

  2. Totally agree John.
China Daily Show is an awesomely funny site for expats in China and isn’t receiving half the attention that it’s due.

When they failed to publish any new content over June and July, I feared for the worst. That they’d gone the way of so many other blogs.

Fortunately they are publishing again and we’ve got plenty more hilarious articles to look forward to. My personal favs were:

    http://chinadailyshow.com/russians-still-the-worlds-scariest-expats-survey/

Anyways i’m starting to sound like someone trying to plug their own site site now, so best shut up.

    • Ah, yeah, that tainted meat one was priceless! Thanks!

      • I literally did laugh out loud on reading the part:

“China’s food industry is buck-passing around the clock to ensure that every foodstuff meets minimum safety requirements.. “From money-hungry slaughterhouses to corrupt regulators, complacent local governments to apathetic outlets, every possible effort is made to ensure goods achieve maximum profit with minimum regard to our fellow countrymen’s health.”

    This is absolutely hilarious!

  4. Marvelous, thanks John: as someone once sang, “How long has this been going on?”
Love how they go after absolutely everybody.

  5. Kudos to the writers of this blog. I’m amazed that the Chinese government has not shut it down.
