I'm a dinosaur, yo
In the tradition of St. Seiya and Benny Lava, here’s a great Japanese music video subtitled in hilarious, (mostly) non-sensical Mandarin:
These lyrics are a bit too non-sensical to warrant a translation into English, but they’re still pretty funny in Chinese. To give you a taste, the first line is “我是恐龙哟” [I’m a dinosaur, yo].
Wa, Jaywalk. LMAO. Good association!
Haha! In Sichuanese, 恐龍 means an ugly girl! I love Sichuan slang!
It’s not a Sichuan slang, 恐龙 is an internet slang. 😉
I remember there was a Japanese show that had a regular bit like this called Soramimi Hour.
Why is part of this song Zhang Yusheng’s “大海,” anyways?
hobielover Yeah I though it sounded quite like Zhang Yu Sheng’s 张雨生 ‘s Dahai 大海 as well.
